Help and common questions

Do I need to register?

No. Playing and viewing rankings are public. Accounts are optional. You can sign up and change your nickname and password on the Account page. Publishing is currently managed by the site operator.

Why did an entry disappear?

A smaller bracket uses a random selection from the collection. A contender also disappears from your current game when it loses a matchup. Start a new game with the largest available bracket to consider the full collection.

Can I undo a choice?

No. A submitted choice records a matchup result. Take a moment before choosing. Starting again creates a new game; it does not erase choices already recorded.

Why did my game stop working?

Game access expires after seven days. Browser site-data deletion can remove access, and an edited or unpublished collection can make an old game unavailable. Start again from its World Cup page.

Are rankings unique voters?

No. They count games and matchups. Read How to read the rankings for the formulas and their limits.

How do I report a photo or another issue?

Use Contact & report. Include the page URL, the contender name, and a clear explanation. For a rights request, include the original source and how you are connected to the rights holder.

Can I change my analytics choice?

Yes. Select Analytics settings in the footer. Declining analytics does not prevent you from playing.
